A 1951 article about the pervasive cultural practice of woman-blaming and woman-burdening. Remarkable, and not something I'm accustomed to finding in mainstream newspapers from the early 50s. I think it's notable that this ran the day after Christmas, a day when women are often particularly burdened by everyone else's desires and expectations.
